I originally wanted to start a blog because I got tired of the "polished" view of life that dominates social media and the blogs designed just to drive viewers. I wanted to create a space for honesty and imperfection, because that's what life is really like. We shouldn't strive for perfection but give it our best shot, regardless of the outcome. Through experimentation, I landed on using this space to document my craft experiments, share my thoughts on challenging times, and showcase my love of my feline friends and a good cup of coffee.

After years of focusing on work and family, TJ and I wanted to reconnect with our creative selves. After reading books like Eve Rodsky's Fair Play and Unicorn Space, we came to the realization that creativity was what was missing in our relationship. So through this blog, we want to share some of our creativity with the world.
