Meet our Feline Friends
As you'll see around the website, I am very fond of my feline friends and enjoy showcasing some of their more entertaining sides. If you'd like to know more about each one, here's a quick introduction to our fur babies.

Apollo
My in-laws found Apollo in 2011 right before TJ and I got married. Because they had dogs at the time, they asked us to take care of him. After checking in with our landlord, we were given approval to take him in and he became "TJ's Cat." He's been with us through the birth of both our kids and several moves. He's getting a little grumpy in his older years, but otherwise, he's still a great lap cat any time I sit down on the couch!
Circe
During the Pandemic, I was going through some rough times due to the isolation, my second pregnancy, and having to work full time while running virtual Kindergarten from my office. Because of that, I talked TJ into letting me get a long haired cat I saw at the shelter, and that's how we came home with Circe. Because we adopted her around Halloween, she was given the name of Circe, after a powerful enchantress, or witch, in Greek mythology. She's a rare orange female and super sweet. I can't sit at my desk without her hopping into my lap for snuggles.

Mu (2005 - 2024)
I found Mu as a kitten while still in high school (2005). She had gotten stuck beside the carport of my house, and I dug her out. After a month of her living on my back porch, I eventually brought her inside so she wouldn't freeze in the winter. She was always so super small. Mu traveled with me to college and then into my adult life. In 2024, her age and illnesses finally got the best of her and we chose to peacefully let her go. She was 18 years old.
